Hair - I have had some bloody awful hairstyles. Everything from a poodle perm bob to a bright orange crew cut. I had long long hair for the first 12 years of life then I got it ALL cut off. Then I grew it, then got it cut, grow, cut, grow, cut. I'm happy with it now. It's just past shoulder length with layers and it's brown with blonde highlights.
Home - Our home!! We bought our house a few months after we got married so that means we've been here for about 11 years. I'm a very static person. I like to have a home that I'm familiar with and I am really happy here. There are some things I'd like to change but generally I'm happy. This year we plan to have a bit of a yard renovation and get a pergola built off the patio which will be great!! I dream about it at night. Our house is a 3 bedroom brick vaneer. It's not overly big (well not big at all really). We converted our garage into a theatre room which is my favourite room in the house.
Hobbies - Ummmmm...scrapbooking!! Surprise surprise. I also enjoy pottering in the garden, cooking and decorating.
Speaking of scrapbooking, here's a digital layout I did of my friend Michelle's gorgeous little girl, Nicola.
Using Karen Lewis's Flutter freebie kit and the photo is by Michelle.
We have had a lot of rain around here lately and the water is coming down from up north so tomorrow if the rain stops I'll go down to the creek at the end of our street and take some photos.

Any given Sunday...
As my regular blog readers will know it is our weekly tradition to go for a walk with Grandma Joy on a Sunday afternoon. It's been a couple of weeks because of Christmas and stuff but we went for our walk today and I got some great photos (at least I think they're decent shots).
I'll start off with the flora photos...
This is one of our neighbours passionfruit flowers. I'm not a fan of passionfruit at all but I just love the flowers. They are so abstract and funky.
At the end of our street is a gully with a creek that backs on to the Kershaw Gardens. The council maintain the land on either side our side of the creek as well as the gardens side so for our normal walk we head down to the creek and walk along our side for about 500metres or cross over about 100 metres down which is where this photo is taken. The water is normally only about ankle deep but today it was the deepest we've seen it due to the rain we've been having and it looks like the council have set up some rock dams to try and stop errosion.

I've gone scrap happy...
I'm really happy with this one. This was my Christmas card for this year and see the stamp? Its going to be our tradition to get a personalised stamp every Christmas. I think it's a great keepsake idea.
I had to go to the doctors this afternoon and while I was there I got him to have a look at what I presumed was a sunspot and he confirmed it and then froze it off. I was soooooo not prepared for that. It made me feel old getting a sunspot done and it bloody stung!! I really think they should give you some time to get used to the idea before they just freeze your facelike that. :P Luckily I'll live.
Just in case anyone who comes past here hasn't seen Clair's blog before I thought I'd link it. You should see her latest photos. They're gorgeous. I especially love the photo of her and Charlee on day 8 with their hats.
I just love looking at peoples photography. My friend Michelle took some photos of her family at the beach and they are just fantastic. The colours are just so appealling. I wish I was a better photo taker. I got a couple of books out of the library so if I ever get around to reading them maybe I'll get a better grasp of it.
Alrighty back to the alphabet...
E
Hmmmm E's bloody hard...
Eggnog : I don't make it as a rule but probably should for Chrismtas but anyhoo, it starts with E so it's on my list. :P
EB : Of course!!! I can't believe I didn't think of it straight away. Essential Baby is this great website all about babies/kids/families/conception and everything in between. This is my homepage and I visit there EVERY day. The community of scrappers there are the most fantastic bunch of women. Supportive, helpful, friendly, generous, just all round good girls!! And talented...oh my gosh are they talented. I doubt there's a month where SC, SM or FK's dosn't have an EB girls work in their magazine. They ROCK!!
F
Food : I don't want to talk about my food obsession but this whole alphabet thing wouldn't be about me if I didn't talk about food. I just LOVE trying different foods. I do have an issue with food but the thought of not being able to experience different flavours just gives me shudders. I LOVE to watch cooking shows and read recipe books. I'll leave it at that though, I just love food. fullstop.
Flowers : While I just love flowers I have hardly any growing in my garden. I think it's because all the flowers I love have crappy looking plants/bushes. My favourite flowers would be gerberas and oriental lillies.
G
Girlfriends : I feel very lucky to have the friends I have. I made some great friends after Jack was born through a new Mummy course that was run through community health. These girls, Kim, Erica, Tricia and Michelle, are just great! They are so supportive and generous and all great Mum's and as I said, I am truly thankful. I also work with a great bunch of girls as I was saying in my last post.
That'll do.
Cheers

I scrapped!!
It feels like it's been forever since I did any scrapping. They were quite simple pages. The double layout is of the most gorgeous photos of Jack and his Grandma running down a little hill, over and over and over and over.
Jack's had quite a few wee wee accidents today which is so odd. He's been so good lately with the whole toilet training thing so I hope it's just a little stage. We've also been having some very interesting toilet time conversations about doodles and 'gina's and the ability to wee if you don't have doodle. Very hard to keep a straight face.
Back to the alphabet thing.
D
Digi-scrapping : I really like digi-scrapping. The majority of my stuff is from freebie kits and I check out Ikea Goddess's blog daily for her freebie list. If Snapfish have a good sale on again some time I'm going to print up a book of layouts. It's a great way of playing around with different page compositions and colours and things.
Disneyland : I would LOVE to go to Disneyland. I just think it would be sooooo magical. You never know, maybe one day.
Man, this alphabeth thing is hard.
Night folks.

Cooking...

This is Jack sleeping after his shopping outing with Daddy the other day. Note the ring of chocolate donut icing around his mouth. Such a sweetie. His use of words is incredible at the moment. He just seems to be picking up everything. And look, I finally scrapbooked something. My very first page for the year. My desk was just covered in junk but my aunt came over today to get some help with a project and I had to find some things so I cleared up my desk and knocked up this quick layout.
K, I'm off to watch Street Customs with Owen.
