Jasmine & Dan's Wedding...

OK, be prepared for a heap of photos!!

As I posted the other day my cousin Jasmine got married on Saturday.

It was a really nice setting. They were married on the riverbank in front of one of the beautiful old walking fig trees and it was just the most gorgeous weather, nice and warm but not too hot and really clear blue skies. The poor things though, they had a few things crop up and didn't get started until late but all's well that ends well.

Weddings are just so beautiful, I think I could easily become a wedding stalker. I cried!! I always cry!! lol. Anyhoo, here's a few photos.

This is my my nephew Joe, my sister-in-law Karen, my neice Rasharna, my brother Kev and my Mum.My gorgeous hubby. My cousin Justin, Uncle Michael, Aunty Jenny, cousin Brett and his gorgeous girlfriend, Erin.Dan, the groom and his brother just after arriving in this cool hotrod. The happy couple walking back down the aisle, stopping to be congratulated by the bride's brother, Aaron.Jasmine's hair and jewellery, just stunning. Jasmine and Grandad.Little Bronwyn, the flower girl fairy, their daughter.
The wedding party and guests. My beautiful neice, Rasharna. The flower Rasharna picked and beautifully set up for a photo. The cake!!Grandma and Grandad Rasharna and Karen The family, Dan & Jas with their beautiful kids, Patrick and Bronwyn.
Jasmine did a beautiful job with everything. There was a black and white theme with a splash of red. One idea I really LOVED was an arrangement they had of black and white illuminated artificial flowers and they had tags for people to write messages on in all different black and white prints, it was a great idea.

These photos are from Thursday. Jack was getting a bit stir crazy being couped up in the house so we went for a play and a walk through the park. We found some big dandelions!! Unfortunately Jack wasn't being a co-operative model that day.
And a busy buzzy bee on the beautiful lavender flowers. I love the colour of lavender.
Jack, having a bit of a play.

Yesterday we went to the Multicultural Fair at the Heritage Village. It was a really great day, so much to see. They had quite a few of the regular market stalls as well as an area with all the international food and a stage where they had various performances, a kids area and great parking facilities.

Jack had his face painted by fairy Lindsey. You could have knocked me over when he said he wanted to be spiderman. He normally always wants to be a tiger.Luckily for me I was able to con Grandma into going on the camel ride with Jack. They were both very brave although Jack did have a little moment of terror when the camel sat back down. Kids faces are so expressive, I wish I had the camera ready for that shot.We met up with our friends Tricia, Jason, Ollie and Sofie and Kim, David, Jared and Charlotte for lunch. We've been going to this event for the last couple of years and every year there's a huge line up at the Hare Krishna stall so I decided before I went that that was what I was going to have and I'm so glad I did. It was a delicious vegetable curry served with rice and vegetarian kofta balls and a delicious desert that had dates in it. It was so yummy. We also sampled some bangladesh cuisine as well just to mix it up a bit.

After lunch we headed to the kids area and the boys had a turn on the tea cup ride...the jumping castle...the pony ride...

and they also had a turn on the pick a duck. I was very careful and made sure I lathered Jack with sunscreen since he had gotten a bit burnt at the swap meet the other weekend and he fared well. I on the other hand am peeling all ready. Silly mummy!!

I had a great day today as well. Jack's friend Jared came over this morning for a play while his Mum and Dad went to an appointment and then Kim stayed for coffee and a chat. Then this afternoon we went over for a play at Ollies house with the kids too. I really miss our Monday Mum's & Bub's get togethers.

Well, that's enough rambling from me.

Ciao
