I love the internet

There is just so much to see and so much inspiration and so many clever, artistic, talented people out there. It's like a trip to an art gallery to see some of the things people post on the internet.

I am in awe.

Our day out

Owen had an RDO today so we went out shopping. We had a great day and I outdid myself with some fabulous parrallel parking to boot. We hardly bought anything but it's always nice to get out and spend some time together.

Mexican Night!!

We had all our baby group friends over for a Mexican dinner last night and it went really well. All the babies had fun playing together and the dinner was really yummy(a bit spicy though). It was great to get all the hubby's together for a bit of a mingle since we girls see so much of each other and the guy's only see each other at birthday parties. Hopefully we'll be making it a regular thing.

Jack learnt to feed himself with a spoon the other night which Owen and I thought was really exciting. He's also learnt some not so exciting things as well such as how to pull over the bedside lamps and how to open my coin section of my wallet. Now if only I could teach him to iron...

Owen has finally finished the carport with the help of a mate and I think it might have inspired him to do some more around the place. He tidied up the front entrance and finally got the filler for my big pot so we now have a pretty little pond at our front door for me to display the gorgeous artificial water lilly I bought the other week.

A Day at the Beach

We had the nicest day at the beach onMonday. Owen managed to get the day off so we packed up the jetski and headed down to meet up with everyone. It was a beautiful day and the water was great, just a little bit cool. I think Jack probably ate half the beach but he had a wondeful time and really enjoyed the water. He loved riding on his little jetski and daddy loved riding on his big jetski. All of the babies seemed to have a great day. Jack conked out in the car before we even got 200metres from the beach which was very cute.

Shop till you drop baby!!

Poor Jack!! I met Erica out this morning for a bit of gift shopping and a coffee and then Jack and I went to Shopping Fair. I'm such a mean mummy making him look at all the boring craftly things when all he wants to do is run around. He did get to have blueberry muffin for lunch though so it's not all bad. And I got some great bargains at Spotlight today, 20 acrylic paints for $10 and a mystery Christmas bag for $5. The Christmas bags got some great stuff in it but it's going to take me hours to untangle it all.

.......World's Worst Blogger Checking In!!

I think I'm about the worst blogger ever!!! It's not that I forget to come in, I just never get around to it. It's 7 past midnight so I've got to get to bed but I promise I'll be better in future.

It's a lovely day today

What a fabulous day it is today. I love it when there's rain around. It's a beautiful cool day today with plenty of breeze and it's just nicely overcast. I hope it rains.
Yesterday we went to Oliver's 1st Birthday party and I had such a nice afternoon. Owen and I spent the afternoon chasing Jack around everywhere but it was so nice to be able to go to an event as a family. I love my guys so much. They make me very proud!!

Aaaarrrgghhhh!!!

I'm addicted to Ebay!!!! I know those that know me know already but I thought I'd share with the rest of the world. I mean it's a manageable addiction but I'm really beginning to think I AM addicted. Today I bought a pair of shorts and a gumnut babies sheet!?!? What the??? I mean the shorts are cute, don't get me wrong but gumnut babies??? Not really my style, not anyone else's either apparently which is why I won the auction. I'm sure it will be nice but I really wanted the Fred Bare blue autumn jumper(insert pout here) which is the only reason I bid on the other things. Oh well, **it happens.

Am I lazy or just a mum?

I've just been sitting here checking out some things on the net, as you do, and now I know I smell like baby puke but hubby's in bed I'm just doin my own thang so I'm not really that worried about the smell. Does that mean I'm lazy???

I Want...

K...i've been thinking & here's what I've decided. I want to get my creative mojo going this year so in my spare time I'm going to 'practice' everything. I'll sketch & paint & sew & bead & scrapbook & decorate & photograph and if I do it enough surely I'll improve!!! On Wednesday I'll go & buy a new sketch pad & some pastels and give it a go. I'll read and study and listen. I know I can, I know I can.

I blog, therefore I am!!

I've decided to blog!!! I'm feeling very un-me lately and I want it to change. Not that a blog will do that for me but I want to be a blogger. So here I am...

Well now I don't know what to say.

I was up until 1.30 last night reading the diary of a fellow EB member and it's really gotten me thinking about soooo many things. I am so thankful for my Jack. He is soooo very precious to me. He is my own very special little miracle and I love him so much. I just feel so much joy when I look at him. I just keep thinking that he's destined for greatness and that's why he took so long to get here. All the years of crying myself to sleep fromBFN's was all worth it.

So now to work on a little brother/sister, what a scary thought. We definately want another baby and soon but what if it dosn't happen???
